Words That Count amplifies the voices of African women in STEM by bridging the gap between education, research, and leadership. Expanding into Uganda, the initiative combines science communication including a new podcast and an "Ask a Scientist" platform with hands-on mentorship and digital literacy bootcamps for students and early-career researchers. By analyzing over 300 success stories to advocate for policy change, the project dismantles structural barriers to ensure women not only enter STEM fields but thrive in them.
