Women Leaders in Technology

Women Leaders in Technology’s project “Fellowship Butwal” is a nine-month-long technical and leadership development program for women studying bachelor in computer science. The fellowship will enable young women in tech to build a first-of-its-kind community in the city. They will go through holistic growth through various activities throughout the year. WLiT will build partnerships with IT companies, local communities, and organizations for internship placements to engage the partners in local tech community development as a conscious effort towards gender diversity in tech. Women professionals in tech in the region become mentors for the fellows and our speakers/facilitators in meetups. WLiT will guide them to be better mentors, highlight their achievements, and they will engage in a community of women from similar walks of life. WLiT intends to support the fellows in organizing tech programs with the college/university clubs.
