Alumna ‘s project focuses on undergraduate women from marginalized backgrounds and it is designed to close gender gaps young women face to enter the workforce, by focusing on three pillars: One-to-one mentoring sessions with senior professional women, networking and online training. The project not only connects mentors who want to volunteer and support the career of a young woman, but it also provides training and guidelines for each session during the 6-month program. With funds from Free Stem, they will launch 2 cohorts totalling 300 students in 2023-2024.
