New Sun Road Guatemala

New Sun Road Guatemala (NSR) is active in twenty indigenous communities implementing Digital Community Centres (DCCs) in Huehuetenango and Alta Verapaz in Guatemala. The DCCs generate economic opportunities for indigenous women by providing them with access to electricity, internet connectivity and training programmes in digital, financial and leadership skills. In this project NSR will make strategic alliances with the main networks of Guatemalan scientists: OWSD-GT, RedCTI and the Academy of Medical, Physical and Natural Sciences. Using these networks, they will invite indigenous women scientists to share their stories and conduct experiments with young women and girls from the communities where the CDDs are located.
